Fabrication & Installation Of a Commercial Cold Room Chiller

Located inside of existing buildings, a cold room is a refrigerated enclosure that is accessible by at least one door. It is big enough for a person to walk through. Design and manufacturing of walk-in chillers or walk-in freezers are part of our cold room installation services.

Ideally a cold room is a HVAC component that employs refrigeration just like a household fridge or milk cooler. However, it is configured as a freezer or a chiller both of which are comparable from a structural perspective. Even if they don’t seem the same, they differ from one another in a few technical ways.

A chiller essentially runs at a temperature between -2 and 5 degrees Celsius, whereas a walk-in freezer runs at a temperature between -40 and -18 degrees Celsius. Therefore, a cold room is one that is chilly; yet, a freezer room is one where goods are frozen and additionally preserved.

Insulated panels are used to isolate the cold rooms from the external environment. Cold room panels are one of the most important points of the cold chain. We use imported room panels in accordance with international standards.

Polyurethane with a density of 40–42 kg/m3 is injected at high pressure between two sheets of 0.50 mm thick polyester coated galvanized steel to create panels. The panels are made in male and female formats, which guarantees flawless interlocking and joining when used with an eccentric locking mechanism that has been carefully devised to prevent damage.

Cold rooms should be designed well so that in addition to the equipment chosen, the workers may enter them safely. Cold room contractors and owners must all engage in the project to choose a cooling system based on a life cycle cost and energy efficiency i.e. eco-friendliness analysis in order to provide safe entrance and movement into the cold room.
